The Spell of The Ice Queen

Last night I fell under the spell of  "The Ice Queen"--the ancient old hag and primordial being who reigned long before the dawn ever was.

She came screaming with a vengeance, Her white cloak of death trailing on the ground behind Her.
Brutal, cold and unrelenting She was. Her words icy shrills masked upon the violent and terrifyingly fierce winds of Her breath.
She encircled my house, surrounded it completely in Her winter madness. She beat on my door and I did not let her in. She rattled my windows and with the  great force of Her breath, She shook my house like an apple tree expecting fruit to fall. And still I did not let Her in.

She thrashed about in a wicked fury knocking over anything in Her path that was not tightly secured to the ground. Her shrieks and screams ever louder --threatening me She thought She would. And still, I did not let Her in.

From inside my humble house looking at Her outside my window, With boldness and strange curiousity I stared Her down. Eye to eye we were, that old hag and I.
Suddenly, without warning that old hag laughed and when She did, I trembled to the bone. But still, I did not let Her in.

Then that old hag transformed Herself into the Ice Queen and with a wave of Her hand cast a windy spell of sleepiness over my house and across the land.

Even as I slept, deep in my dreams I heard Her howl and I heard Her moan but still, I slept on and kept on dreaming.

I woke early this morning  knowing She's out there. I hear Her still. She waits for me, daring me to step out into Her icy, frozen and dead world.
But here I will stay, deep within Psyche's Dream
Dreaming big dreams while that old hag howls, moans, shrieks and screams.
No, I will not let Her in.

Instead I will stay inside and dream. And dream the biggest of dreams...until spring.

The Sun Rises With You

As I stood in quiet contemplation,

feeling the gentle breeze blow,

listening to the birds sing forth the light,

I watched the sun slowly rise.

Stretching my gaze beyond the horizon,

the liminal place between heaven and earth, 

where night meets the dawn,

and day meets the night, 

between the one dimensional and two, 

the reality of what we can see, 

yet we can not touch,

 I couldn't help but think

 of You. 

The blazing fire star,

slowly ascending ever higher,

reveals a sacred sky of the most amazing blue.

 The illuminated earth,

the voluptuous woman that She's become,

  seductively exposes

a flowery dress She wears over

 her landscape of endless contours 

and curves,

a kaleidoscope of colors and textures.

I was caught in this moment of utter beauty
with the realization 

that in a blink of an eye

I could have easily missed.

And there I stood, 

wishing I could have shared this moment 

with You.

I close my eyes and inhale deeply the crisp morning air,

letting the rays of golden color caress my face.

I give thanks for the energy that sustains me, 

and nourishes the world. 

Exhaling, 

I feel my heart beat and fill with the joy and bliss

that only this passion can bring. 

Love of Life, 

Love of Love 

and the Love,

of You

I open my eyes and look again where the horizon was

only moments before

That distant place that doesn't seem to exist at all
and to have never been. 

Yet, 

beyond that magical place where night kisses the day

Is where you are,

and where I long to be.

With you.

The sun continues to climb the sky, 

higher and higher, 

shining down on this side of the world

where I am in this moment.

I am filled with a deep inner knowing

that every day, 

every moment, 

every interaction, 

indirect and direct ,

by way of secret code and metaphor,

through poetry and song,

takes me beyond the limits of the magical realm,

and one step closer

 to You. 

I bow with respect to the sun, 

Kissing my fingers,

I kneel and touch the earth with reverence 

and deepest gratitude. 

My heart flutters, 

my mind swirls 

and my senses reel, 

I am thankful. 

I turn and walk away with a blissful heart 

knowing my day will never turn to night

because it's impossible to walk in darkness

 when I carry inside my heart,

of You.

In My Delirium

Strung out and bewildered,

Consumed with nothing but burning

thoughts of you.

They intoxicate me,

Leaving me disoriented

and delirious,

Arousing a desperate desire,

To be near you,

To touch you,

To kiss you,

Enslaved by my imagination,

 perceiving the taste of firewater 

from your lips

Excites me,

Beyond all sober limits.

Like an addict,

A Love Fiend,

Constantly craving,

Needing and aching

For more and more

Of You.

When Passion Awakens

There is something magical about his eyes that touch the deepest core of me,

One look from him and I melt like the sun melting snow.

His eyes awakened a deep passion within me that lay quietly sleeping forever.

Now I've become like a woman possessed, 
I want him so much.  

One way or another, 

I must have him.

 Or die.

Indescribable Love

I have not the words to describe all the feelings of love I hold deep in my heart for Him.

How can I begin to define and limit that which is limitless, 

that which has no beginning and no end?

It is an impossible task.

Impossible because it is that which is eternal and that which only the soul understands
And the mind can never comprehend.

Eclipse of Love

The New Moon eclipses the Sun.
She covers him,"The Radiant One",
with her cool naked body of darkness.
He penetrates her with his fire, impregnating her with light.
Pregnant, She walks down the black velvet skies
waxing, growing, swelling
Until she births their silver child, "The Brilliant One", that illuminates the night.

Love's Initiation

Come to me, Beloved,

Take my hand and I shall lead you to the

Sacred entrance of the Most Holy Temple of Aphrodite

Open yourself to me, let me show you what it's like

Trust me to be your priestess,

your initiator into the Mysteries of Ecstasy

and the Pleasure of Love that is

Pure,Intoxicating,

Divine and Eternal

The God of Love, Eros has penetrated our being with his

arrows filled with the potent elixir of Love

Creating tidal waves of intense and overwhelming desire

for the depth of Connection of Passion

And love so deep that only our two hearts,

two souls and two bodies can create

Merging us back into the One we were,

from the beginning of time,conceived as.

Caress of Kanon

My heart swells and beats feverishly.
I'm overcome with strange sensations as waves of magic
from his six string envelop me.
He plays on for who seems to be only me.
His sound is a thousand soft kisses all over my body
gently caressing my curves wrapping me in his essence.

Oneness

My heart beats heavily at the very thought of you.

I become breathless, and I begin to spiral in and out of a dream.
 
I imagine our hearts, our minds, our bodies and souls merging into the ecstasy of One consciousness under a blanket of stars.

Our Oneness pulsating and vibrating the highest frequency of Loves Vibration, exploring our deepest and most sacred connection. 

In perfect time, rhythm and motion, we flow in and out, swirling from one into the other in the perfect Oneness of being; a Divine and Holy Union of Twin Souls.

Our bodies,intertwined in the rapture of Loves Eternity as waves of ecstasy rise and and crash and rise again building momentum until, in perfect harmony, there is a star burst explosion of lights and cosmic colors and the flowing forth of pure Divine Love.
